About the event
Now that I have a lap top, I’m spending the mornings editing the book that I’ve been working on for the past three years titled, ‘Betrayed NOT Beaten’; and use table space and internet access on good will at PUR ETC in Paris. These French people are truly awesome!
Also a quick thanks to the local coffee shops who give me their unsold goods at the end of the day (and the occasional coffee/juice in the morning), so that I don't have to go through the supermarket bins for food, while I’m still homeless and unemployed.
In accordance to Maltese Marriage Law, I will be able to file for divorce against my Maltese Husband as of the 30th August, 2018; complying with the requirement of living apart for four years before filing for divorce; there will be a legal request for back-payment of Spousal Maintenance for the entire four years in accordance to Section 72, FLA (of the relevant act).

For those who have been waiting so patiently for a printed copy of my first book to be published, which is titled, ‘Betrayed NOT Beaten’ (now in the editing stages), here is a sneak peak; but unfortunately, it has not come in time for those mentioned in this book, whose lives have already been destroyed by The Palace Prison Down Under.
Please Note: BASED ON A TRUE STORY AND ACTUAL EVENTS.

With the passports clutched tight in my hand, I ran outside to bury them in such a way that they could be accessed from the outside. I quickly wrapped them tight in plastic and reaching my hand through the gaps of the metal fence posts, I dug a deep hole and put them in the ground.
Duty staff were doing a head count, after someone tried to escape in a desperate fight for her freedom. She was Asian and the mother of a young child, who was institutionalised because her new Australian life-partner who was having an affair, wanted to have sex with her during her periods and she refused him. She couldn’t leave him because she would effectively loose her child and her entitlement to stay in Australia, so she put up with all his abuse instead. He had strong ties with the Australian Department of Child Protection in Melbourne – it was her word against his.
When she tried to call the police to stop him from raping her, he disconnected the telephone line from the wall and used his mobile phone to call the police against her, alleging paranoia. He then locked her in the house awaiting police presence. Upon their arrival, the police were quick to section her under Section Ten of the Mental Health Act. She was then escorted by police to the Mental Health Unit of the local hospital, forcing her to leave her child behind. Her dreams of Australia went up the shit!
In the Mental Health Unit of the hospital she was missing her child, who she was not allowed to see – a decision that her new Australian life partner had made – which caused her depression. When she protested, medical staff increased her medication to sedate her. In a docile state, she was appointed a Lawyer of their choice funded by legal aid, who did nothing for her but fill in documents. When she tried to escape they caught her, isolated her in the High Dependency Unit and then booked her in for Electric Shock Treatment after her treating psychiatrist (who ignored her requests for a second opinion), claimed untreatable depression.
Well that did it, SHE WAS SILENCED, and she was one of many. This acted as a WARNING by medical staff for anyone else trying to escape, so I knew that if I was going to escape, I had to be very successful, there was no other choice. It was do or die!
I had to make sure I was present for the head count and after securing my passports underground, I ran back into my room to wash my face from the sweat in order not to arouse suspicion. It was the pressure that I was sweating from not the heat. I passed the head count.
They knew I was trying to communicate with the Asian Lady passing hand written messages under the door where she was contained and making phone calls to lawyers on her behalf. In attempt to obstruct my efforts, medical staff were warning patients not to give me money for phone calls; to use a pay phone service available in the ward for patients. Lawyers were leaving messages for me that were not passed on by medical staff, preventing me from getting a lawyer for my own case; countless breaches to the Mental Health Act of Victoria, Australia.
Using the computer and internet access available in the communal loungeroom that was in view of duty staff, I began typing a formal complaint to Dr Ruth Vine who was the Chief Psychiatrist of Victoria…

(The above mentioned is a breech of the Mental Health Act, Section 18 (1) (A), “... the right to obtain legal representation...”, and a breech of Section 18 (4) “...it is the duty of the authorising psychiatrist to ensure that this section is complied with”)…

I hope to have my book titled, ‘Betrayed NOT Beaten’, published early next year, in 2019. I have not signed any contracts with publishers nor accepted royalties, simply because the script is not ready.
