During the protest on Saturday 15th, in Paris, I had an interesting conversation with two complete strangers from India, who were having coffee at Pret-A-Manger on Rue de L’Opera on a table next to me.
They were asking lots of questions in English regarding the protest. As I was talking to them another man came to mind whom I met in Western Australia, from the same part of India as them, his name is Jasper Singh.
Jasper Singh was a supervisor at my daughter's work in Western Australia. The Australian Government was about to send him back home to India, as his viza was expiring. He was desperate to stay in Australia and wanted his residency for employment reasons. At…
